It has paved roads and central water system. Ideal for walkers and joggers. Lake location is supreme being near the mountain and the dam at the deepest, cleanest part of the lake. The land was originally owned by the Appalachian Power Company (which owns the lake) and a group of 10 investors from Bedford bought the land from the Power Company in the late 1970's and developed the subdivision comprised of over 400 lots, offering the land for sale one section per year, selling out in 4 years. No Pets. No Smoking.

Maximum Occupancy: 6 All homes are strictly limited to the number of occupants indicated. Occupancy limitations are determined by Bedford County and are based on the size of the homes septic system. For the purpose of this regulation, anyone over the age of two years is considered an occupant. Lovely, three level home in Mountain View Shores. On the main level of the home is a great room with living and dining areas and a cathedral ceiling. Large windows and french doors frame the view of the lake and lead out to the covered porch outside. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a central island with a sink and small breakfast bar. One bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom are also on the main level. The upper level of the home has a loft that overlooks the great room below. On this level, you'll find another bedroom with a queen bed, a full bath and a sitting room with a futon and TV. On the lower level of the home is a rec room complete with a pool table, bar, stereo, and TV. A third bedroom with a full bed and another full bathroom are also on the lower level of the home. The home has 4 TVs with Comcast cable. TV in upstairs bedroom offers a VCR, living room TV has DVD/VCR. Central A/C throughout, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. Grilling area on the lakeside of the home has a gas grill, sink (cold water only), bar, outdoor dining table with chairs and outdoor speakers. Lighted walkway to the stationary dock. Central A/C, washer/dryer, dishwasher. This home is in the same cove as On Eagle's Wings. Bed Sizes: 2 Queen, Full, Queen Futon Items to bring: LINENS (towels, wash cloths, sheets, pillow cases) trash bags, paper goods (toilet tissue, paper towels), dish detergent, laundry detergent (high efficiency required), flashlight. | CANCELLATION POLICY: If a reservation is cancelled with at least 60 days prior notice, 1/2 of the pre-paid rental payment (less any pre-paid Travel Insurance fees) will be refundable. If a reservation is cancelled within 60 days of your arrival date, no refunds will be issued.
