2 MOUNTAIN VIEW SHORES is a lovely development with many year-round homes, it features a private boat ramp area where you may park your boat trailer for the duration of your stay. It has paved roads and central water system. Ideal for walkers and joggers. Lake location is supreme being near the mountain and the dam at the deepest, cleanest part of the lake. The land was originally owned by the Appalachian Power Company (which owns the lake) and a group of 10 investors from Bedford bought the land from the Power Company in the late 1970's and developed the subdivision comprised of over 400 lots, offering the land for sale one section per year, selling out in 4 years. Occupancy limitations are determined by Bedford County and are based on the size of the homes septic system. For the purpose of this regulation, anyone over the age of two years is considered an occupant. This two level ranch has a large, fully-equipped kitchen, living room with gas fireplace, family room w/kitchenette, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Master bedroom has sliding door with deck access. HDTV 37" flat screen television with DirecTV satellite service, VCR and DVD player. Huge laundry room and office area. The lower level has large family room and one bathroom. Family room contains another TV with VCR/DVD and satellite access as well as an 8' pool table, air hockey table, foosball table, kitchenette, bar and dining area. Family room has a dog crate and there is a 9' X 7' dog pen outside. Screened porch and lakeside deck with gas grill. Hot tub (available March 1-December 1), great for relaxing after a long day on the lake. Covered dock with boat hoist, floater, electricity and lights. 2 canoes, paddleboat and firepit available. Circular paved driveway. This home is next door to Lazy Days and close to Dock Holiday and in the same cove as On Eagle's Wings. Central A/C and dishwasher. | CANCELLATION POLICY: If a reservation is cancelled with at least 60 days prior notice, 1/2 of the pre-paid rental deposit (less any pre-paid Travel Insurance fees) will be refundable. If a reservation is cancelled within 60 days of your arrival date, no refunds will be issued.
