MOUNTAIN VIEW SHORES is a lovely development with many year-round homes, it features a private boat ramp area where you may park your boat trailer for the duration of your stay. It has paved roads and central water system. Ideal for walkers and joggers. Lake location is supreme being near the mountain and the dam at the deepest, cleanest part of the lake. The land was originally owned by the Appalachian Power Company (which owns the lake) and a group of 10 investors from Bedford bought the land from the Power Company in the late 1970's and developed the subdivision comprised of over 400 lots, offering the land for sale one section per year, selling out in 4 years. This 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath 2-level cedar contemporary is located on a very private wooded lot, with a paved drive. A Hot Springs Spa (HOT TUB) is located on the lakeside of the home. It has an open great room with a great stone, wood-burning fireplace (for use during blue and green rate periods only). The living room features an updated entertainment center, with a 36” television, a VHS/DVD player, with plenty of movies, and CD changer with I-Pod hookup waiting for you to bring your favorite music. There is a wonderfully equipped kitchen on the main level, with an icemaker in the refrigerator. (A second full-sized fridge with icemaker is downstairs.) The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking and entertaining needs, with quality stainless cookware, a cappuccino machine, a fondue pot and an electric ice cream maker. Table linens and bar equipment, including a blender. Sunroom off the master bedroom suite on the main level, with private full bathroom. A half bath is also on the main level and convenient to the kitchen and living area. Lower level family room has a large screen home theatre system with 7.1 surround sound and lots of movies. Another TV on the lower level has a PlayStation 2 with many compatible games. The utility room has a washer and dryer, and the additional refrigerator with a second icemaker. The two additional bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed and a twin, and one with two twins, one with a trundle bed, and a full bathroom are downstairs as well. The family room on the lower level has a queen sleep sofa. Sliding glass doors lead out to the covered lower deck and hot tub and an open area that is equipped with a second set of outdoor furniture. One bay garage available for tenant use. Dishwasher, central A/C. The dock is designed for both sun and shade lovers (12'X24' covered, same amount uncovered). Located in a protected cove, great for peaceful swimming. There is a covered deck with ceiling fans, lighting and plenty of outdoor seating as well as a well padded 30' floater (covered boat slip and hoist not available), lockable storage in the boat house, lights, and cypress porch swing that offers a great view of the mountain and Cedar Key wildlife area. Some of the very best waterskiing, wakeboarding, and fishing spots on the lake a just a short trip from the dock. An open lakeside deck is off the living room; with seating for six, and a gas grill. A large fully furnished dock is ready for you to enjoy. Tie your boat up to the 10’ x 30’ floating dock during your stay. Stationary dock has padded stand-offs also. A paddleboat is available for your enjoyment. Enjoy the outdoor living area that this spacious dock provides. The storage area can be locked so that you can leave your items by the water if you'd prefer. Tie your boat up to the floating dock during your stay. A paddleboat is also available for your enjoyment.

A lighted walkway leads to the dock through this private wooded lot.	A quiet cove makes this area a great place for swimming or using the paddleboat. Enjoy the views of the mountain from the dock.

The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking needs, with professional quality stainless cookware, a cappuccino machine, a fondue pot and an electric ice cream maker.

Sliding glass doors and windows allow for an open view outside.

This large stone fireplace, located in the living room, is available during the green and blue rate periods. A large flat screen TV w/VCR and DVD player add to the amenities.

The master bedroom on the main level has a Queen bed, and a private full bath. Enjoy your morning coffee in the wicker-furnished sunroom, right outside your own door.

One bedroom on the lower level has a queen and a twin bed.

The third bedroom, also on the lower level, has two twin beds, one with a trundle.


Sliding glass doors lead out to the covered patio and hot tub. 2 TVs, a VCR and DVD player are also downstairs in the family room.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If a reservation is cancelled with at least 30 days prior notice, 1/2 of the pre-paid deposit will be fully refundable. If a reservation is cancelled within 30 days of your arrival date and we are unable to re-rent the property, no refunds will be issued. If we are able to re-rent the property and secure the same monies for the property owner, all monies paid by the canceling party will be refunded excluding 1/2 of the pre-paid deposit, which will serve as the cancellation fee.
